Hi, I’m Huda!
You may be used to holding everything in, overthinking constantly, or feeling like no one fully understands what you’re carrying. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can be a space to slow down, process your experiences, and reconnect with yourself.
My approach is client-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in genuine connection. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EFT, Narrative Therapy, and somatic-based techniques, while tailoring therapy to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. My hope is to offer a space where you feel comfortable opening up at your own pace.
I also bring experience working with individuals from diverse and newcomer backgrounds, including those navigating cultural expectations, identity, and belonging. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith, I offer an Islamically-integrated approach, creating space to explore healing in a way that aligns with your values and beliefs. I am also able to provide support in Arabic for clients who feel more comfortable communicating in their native language.
I’m currently completing my Master of Science in Psychotherapy at McMaster University. As a student psychotherapist, I offer low-cost therapy sessions under the supervision of an experienced Registered Psychotherapist.
I welcome you to book a free 15-minute phone consultation to connect, ask questions, and see whether working together feels right for you :)
