Community Partnerships

At ICA Counselling & Supervision, we believe that healing does not happen in isolation. Meaningful mental health care is strengthened through community, collaboration, and shared responsibility. Our partnerships reflect a deep commitment to equity, accessibility, and culturally responsive care for individuals and families who face systemic barriers to support.

By working alongside organizations that share our values of dignity, compassion, social justice, and ethical practice, we are able to extend care beyond the therapy room and respond more holistically to the needs of the communities we serve.

Mishka Social Services

ICA Counselling & Supervision is proud to collaborate with Mishka Social Services, a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to supporting marginalized communities, including refugees, newcomers, women, and families.

Through this partnership, ICA clinicians contribute mental health and clinical expertise that complements Mishka’s work in:

  • Advocacy and systems navigation

  • Program and community development

  • Supporting individuals facing social, cultural, and structural barriers

  • Strengthening community-based responses to trauma, displacement, and resettlement

This collaboration allows clients to access wraparound support, combining psychotherapy with advocacy, referrals, and community resources that promote long-term stability, healing, and integration.

Our Commitment to Partnership

Our community partnerships are guided by the belief that:

  • Mental health care must be accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive

  • Collaboration strengthens outcomes for individuals, families, and communities

  • Healing is supported through connection, advocacy, and shared care

  • Ethical partnerships require transparency, respect, and mutual accountability

ICA remains committed to building and sustaining partnerships that align with our mission to support marginalized, underserved, and equity-deserving communities.
