ICA Counselling — Fall Groups Campaign

Own Your Freaky Flaws — Monster-Themed RPG Group for Social Anxiety

Where being different is the whole point.

In this 8-week virtual group, kids and teens create their own monster characters and play through a story where every "flaw" turns out to be a strength. Along the way — without it ever feeling like a lecture — they practice real, DBT-informed skills for social anxiety: managing worry in the moment, speaking up in a group, handling awkward moments, and being kind to themselves when things don't go perfectly.

Role-playing makes practice safe. It's easier to try something brave as your character first — then carry it into real life.

Master Your Elements — Four-Elements RPG Therapy Group for Big Emotions

Big emotions aren't the enemy. They're elements waiting to be mastered.

In this 8-week virtual group, kids and teens journey through the four elements — each one a set of real, DBT-informed emotion regulation skills:

  • Air — calm the mind. Mindfulness and grounding when thoughts race.
  • Water — ride the wave. Getting through intense feelings without being swept away.
  • Earth — stand your ground. Asking for what you need and holding boundaries.
  • Fire — channel the spark. Turning anger and big energy into something useful.

It plays like a game. It works like therapy.
